My friend Tracy emailed me to let me know about South End artist Yuko Adachi. The Tokyo-born artist’s work “is amazing,” so Tracy says.

Yuko’s paintings are extremely bright and colorful, and (on the screen at least) show a plant-like vibe without being direct that, yes, that’s what you’re looking at.

From the artist:

Art is a universal language of the souls. I believe creativity was given to mankind not only to remind us that we humans are spiritual beings but also to experience the infinite love and eternal spiritual freedom we all own in our hearts, which transcend the time and the space we live.

I mainly work with oil on canvas and mixed media on paper. I am interested in discovering my unlimited well of artistic potentials by diving into the unknown and experience where my energy takes me in the given present moment. I wish to share with the viewers the joy of being alive through my works.

This is from the official release:

YUKO ADCHI is a Tokyo born award winning Fine Artist. She was raised in Japan, Paris, London and the United States of America. She has been painting since she was a little girl. She has been showing her works through solo and selected group shows internationally.
