The International Contemporary Furniture Fair (or ICFF), the largest modern design expo in the US, happens every May in New York’s Javitz Center.
If you’re a long-time reader, you may remember I went to the ICFF two years ago. It was a great time, with tons of fellow furniture geeks, and some of the best examples of modern furniture from around the world, all under one roof. Add the industry parties throughout SoHo and TriBeCa, and you have a pretty crazy event.
I wasn’t able to make it down last year, but I’ve made sure to be there this year. But it won’t just be me: Fellow DesignBostone’rs Christopher and Joyce will be joining me, so expect a full write up of all that we see, hear, and experience, all with the requisite photos.
I’ve also been given the opportunity to write a special article on green design at ICFF for the Huffington Post, which I’m very excited about.
I’m particularly interested to see what presence Boston designers will make at the event.
Will you be there? If so, let me know, and say hi!
