objectified

Objectified, the new documentary from Gary Hustwit, is the top grossing independent film in the US.

Hustwit, the director of Helvetica, has “had events in Toronto, Vancouver, Cleveland, the New York City weekend events, and two great screenings last night in Philadelphia.” Next week, he’ll be in Atlanta, Indianapolis, and Colombus, OH.

The best news is that Objectified will be showing in Boston in just over two weeks.  Tickets are now on sale.

Objectified is a feature-length independent documentary about industrial design. It’s a look at the creativity at work behind everything from toothbrushes to tech gadgets. It’s about the people who re-examine, re-evaluate, and re-invent our manufactured environment on a daily basis. It’s about personal expression, identity, consumerism, and sustainability. It’s about our relationship to mass-produced objects and the people who design them.
