If you’ve received the latest Design Within Reach catalog in the mail you may have noticed a few new pieces: DWR is now offering select designs by Frank Lloyd Wright.
Fully licensed by the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation, the Frank Lloyd Wright Collection at DWR includes Wright’s Barrel Chair, a recliner, and a sofa.

Wright’s Barrel Chair ($1850) was originally designed in 1937 for Wingspread, the Wisconsin home Wright designed for Herbert F. Johnson. The Barrel Chair is made of solid cherry with a black leather seat, and can be used as a dining or occasional chair.

The Frank Lloyd Wright Recliner ($4500) was originally designed in 1912. The recliner function has been altered so that you can adjust the seating angle without standing. The recliner comes in FSC-certified solid oak in walnut stain with caramel leather.

The longer sibling to the recliner, the 75.5″-long Sofa ($6500) was originally designed for the William B. Greene House in Aurora, Illinois. Like the recliner, the sofa is made from FSC-certified solid oak in walnut stain with caramel leather.
As authentic, fully licensed products of the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation, each piece comes engraved with a serial number and Wright’s signature.
