Hi! My husband, Damien and I own AYANA SOFIA IMPORTS - thanks for loving our stuff and mentioning us here on your website! We not only sold this shopper the Tibetan shawls but the Indian Wall Tapestries, as well - they are made in Rajasthan, by the way.
We had a great time at Brimfield and plan to be there next year for the May and Sept. shows.
We'll probably be at Hertan's Field again, so you'll know where to find us ;)

Feel free to contact us at as_imports@yahoo.com or 413-204-3556 if you're interested in some awsome Asian Handicrafts. Next year we go back to India and, hopefully, to Viet Nam! We home school our 9 year old daughter, and we're having a great time traveling.

And check this out, Bostonians: We'll be in Boston soon!

SEPT. 26th BERKELEY BEAN JAZZ FEST
OCT. 10th HARVARD, MA Annual Town-wide Flea Market
OCT. 11th OKTOBERFEST 2009
See you soon!
you might like to see the street exhibit on brattle street cambridge at the original design research bldg, designed by ben thompson forty years ago. there is an installation of marimekko and imported finnish furniture. all installed to be seen from the street. it is like harvard square in the seventies. after DR left the bldg years ago, crate and barrel came in. they were perfect tenant for the space, sharing the DR ethos. then they left. and the landlord gave Jane Thompson, ben thompson's widow, the space for exhibit and celebration for several months!!! much better than empty storefront and a true anniversary of the bldg and of marimekko in the US. if yr in cambridge or new england even, it is worth goingout of yr way to see
