I was hoping to make the New York International Gift Fair this week, but sickness between and my would-be travel companion kept us both home.
Though we weren’t able to make it, it looks like it was a success for at least one local shop: Eastern Accent of Sudbury won the Accent On Design award for Overall Excellence!
For the last 30 years, Masayuki Muramatsu’s Eastern Accent has been selling “original Japanese modern designs to America and the rest of the world, inspiring all with Japan’s tradition of fine design and superior craftsmanship.” The Accent On Design judges “recognized Eastern Accents’ superb and fresh editing that creates a serene and delightful collection year after year.”
